THANK YOU parents for a delicious Staff Appreciation Luncheon and Breakfast! I truly enjoyed your generosity. Both events were a wonderful treat.
We were so proud of how well the students sung their songs and acted them out in our Friendly Neighborhood Helpers musical! Enjoy the photos.

Caterpillars, Bike Day, and Important Dates
Upcoming important dates
We have caterpillars growing in our classroom. This unit is to help the children develop a deeper appreciation for the diversity of life and to cultivate a sense of respect for all living things. If your child wants to catch an insect in a jar, please encourage him or her to do so and to return the insect to nature after a short time.
We enjoyed making our Mother's Day project. Here they are all ready to go home.
- Evening performance of Friendly Neighborhood Helpers is tomorrow, May 10th at 6:30. Please deliver your child to our classroom no earlier than 6:15. I will have their costume waiting. *Helpful hint - Our class is placed on the right side facing the stage.
- Early Release on Wednesday, May 18th at 12:50.
- First Grade Mall is on Friday, May 20th. A letter about this event went home on Friday. DONATIONS ARE NEEDED. :)
- Grandluncheon is on Monday, June 6th.
- Field Day is Thursday, June 9th.
- June 14th is our First Grade Field Trip to Stratham Hill Park. Stay tuned for more details.
For homework this week, please continue to read at home. New word sort words will go home this Thursday and Friday.
Ride your bike to school was a big success. There were even more bikes that camera couldn't capture.
