We have had a lot of fun this month. We finished our Persuasive Letter Writing unit in Writers' Workshop and completed our Nonfiction unit in Readers' Workshop. We celebrated Chinese New Year and the 100th Day of School. Next Tuesday afternoon, we will shop at our classroom Valentine store and prepare our Valentine boxes at school. Mrs. Hanson and Mrs. Hawkins will help run our store during our center time. Please send in your $1.00 in change by Monday, if you have not done so already. Thank you!
We will see Mrs. Gomes and Mrs. Shore this Monday, Feb. 10th from 9:00-10:15 to help with our Math Workshop.
Mark you calendars now for our class musical called
Character Matters on April 16th at 6:30 on our school stage. The students don't know much about it yet! I will introduce the musical towards the end of March. Every child will get a speaking part and some will get solo singing parts as well.
