Valentine lists will go home this week for homework. Please have the Valentines ready by February 12th and have your child include everyone in the class. We will celebrate with an ice cream party on February 13th. Parents are not needed for this event.

- Filled our Book Barns with fiction and nonfiction books
- Looked closely at the text features in nonfiction books and are writing nonfiction books of our own
- Made many sums of 10 and found the missing addend
- Practiced double facts
- Practiced our Math Minutes to improve our math facts (You may have noticed the papers coming home.)
- Learned all about Martin Luther King, Jr.
