The 100th Day of School is on Monday, February 9th. Please have your child count out 100 pieces of the same item to contribute to a trail mix snack for a classroom celebration. Please make sure these items do not contain any peanuts or tree nuts. Also, please remind your child to wash their hands prior to counting out the pieces. It will be helpful to attach an ingredient label for the item your child chose. Thank you! These items are due by Monday, February 9th.
Please have your child bring in $1.00 in change by Monday, February 9th in a labeled bag or container. We will use this money to buy items at our Valentine store to help decorate our Valentine boxes on February 12th. If anyone would like to volunteer from 1:30-2:45 on February 12th, please let me know. Mrs. Sapcoe will volunteer this day as well. The money raised at our store will be donated to the Stratham S.P.C.A. when they visit us in March.

Please continue to have your child practice their word sort words in the orange envelope. They will continue to receive new words every Day 2 (Green Day)! It would be helpful to have your child read each day at home for at least 10 minutes. At this time in the year, your child should be able to find "just right" books to read by themselves or with you. As your child progresses with their reading, please remember how important it is for your child to hear you read to them as well! Bedtime is a perfect time for you to cuddle up with your child and read to them. If you have older siblings, it is still important for them to hear you read too!
