We had so much fun creating marble mazes today with empty paper towel tubes, marbles, and dominoes. Next Friday, we will explore these maze creations again and take videos of the mazes in action.
Next Friday, will be Pajama and Stuffed Animal Day! We will also read with flashlights.
Today, we discovered that the Pinkalicious children's book series is now a cartoon on PBS. We watched Glitterizer today and read the closed captioning as the words appeared.
Thank you for all the Valentine store and ice cream sundae donations. Valentine's Day was a blast!
We began our writing unit called "Writing Reviews". The students have a letter in their blue folders explaining this unit. We kicked the unit off by sharing my daughter Alanna's Beanie Boo dog collection with the class. They each had to write her a letter telling which one they liked best and the reasons why. Here is Alanna enjoying all their letters. We also viewed Mr. Fosher's baseball hat collection and wrote letters to him stating our favorite. Your child is ready to bring in a collection of their own!
