Please send in $1.00 in change (only pennies, nickels, and dimes) by Monday, February 12 in order to shop from our Valentine store. We are still looking for a few parent volunteers to work at our classroom store from 10:00-11:40 on Monday, February 12th. So far, Beckie Curtis has volunteered. Please send me an email, if you are available. Also, we could use a few more donations for our Valentine store and/or foaming hand soap. We now have enough disinfecting wipes. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!
Please have your child bring their Valentines by Valentine's Day. We are excited to pass out our Valentines and enjoy our sundaes on February 14th.
We have been so busy with all the various activities these past few weeks.
Ask your child to tell you:
Why do football players wear helmets?
How do you add dimes and pennies?
What are tens and ones?
Which symbols mean greater than, less than, and equal to?
What do four quarters equal?
How did it feel to go to the Moon?
Why did you get your reading detective badge?
What is a snap word?
When it is your turn to be the Lobster of the Week-- who will you invite to have lunch with you and Mrs. Hackett?
Upcoming Lobster of Week:
Week of February 12th: Callie
Week of February 19th: Cooper
Week of March 5th: Margaret

Happy 100th Day!
We had fun reading our clues to the class! Many were tricky and stumped us! It sure was fun.
