Published Book/ Raz Kids/ Important Dates

We were so excited to receive our published book called "Our Families".  I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as we did.  It will serve as our end of the year memory book and hopefully be cherished for years to come.  We read our book to our Reading Buddies too!

I changed your child's password on Raz Kids.  New passwords will go home on Tuesday.  Your child can access Raz Kids and iReady all summer long to continue practicing his/her reading and math skills.

This might be a great weekend to clean out cabinets for our First Grade Mall.  I have found many items that another child may love!  Please remember to send in $1.00 in change (pennies, nickels, and dimes) in a labeled baggie in order for your child to shop at our mall.

Please check your house (under beds, book shelves, and/or other nooks and crannies) for our classroom books.  We will collect them all by the end of May.  THANK YOU!

This coming week we will complete many assessments to close out our year.  A few assessments that were completed at the beginning of the year were sent in your child's blue folder.

The students are continuing with writing their series books during Writer's Workshop.  I'm sure you will enjoy reading them when they come home close to the end of the school year.
