Community Appreciation Day!

I can't wait to meet your special people/relatives on Monday, June 4th for the Grand Luncheon! We'll take pictures and post them next week. Our lunch time is at 11:40.
Please take another look around your house to donate or buy a few of the listed items for our First Grade Mall. A reminder sheet went home today. Also, have your child bring in $1.00 in change (pennies, nickels, and dimes only) by Monday so we can use it to shop at our mall and practice counting money throughout the week.
A few things we did this week...
- brainstormed how we have grown this year
- watched a Mystery Doug "Are Unicorns Real?"
- created a classroom rainstorm
- learned a brain break "Awake, Alert, Alive" (Ask your child to sing this song to you.)
- completed our iReady assessment. Your child can now use iReady at home again!
- learned our new password for RazKids
- rearranged our classroom and library and organized our materials
- dissected a brain in Social Detectives (Ask your child what that was all about!)
- played Candy Land
- used "Quiet Time" journals
Fort Building has become a Fun Friday activity!
