Below are photos of a few activities from last week.
Please Mark Your Calendars:
Picture Day is Tuesday, September 11th. Please bring your smile.
Early Release is Thursday, September 27th at 12:50
Our Seesaw accounts are almost ready. You will receive a QR Code to activate your child's account soon. You will have access to your child's Kindergarten portfolio as well by scrolling down on the current posts, just like on Facebook.
Our new classroom Chromebooks are not touch screen as originally planned. However, they are brand new and will be used with or without a mouse depending upon your child's preference. These will be introduced to the students soon!
Your child has a set of personal headphones to use at school. However, if your child has a small pair they like better at home, they may bring them in to keep and use at school for the year.
If you have paper bags with handles such as the ones from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's, we'd love you to donate them to our classroom. Thank you in advance!
Here's just a glimpse on what we've been working on:
Practiced "just right" reading spots
Graphed our class birthdays
Played, "Name Bingo"
Created a self portrait
Here are some questions to promote school talk...
1) Can you sing me the Willaby Wallaby song using our family names?
